Active cryovolcanic geysers at south pole Tiger Stripe fractures — ejecting ~200 kg/s of water ice, vapor, and organics. Global subsurface ocean (~10 km deep, under 30-40 km ice shell). Hydrothermal activity detected: H₂ in plumes indicates serpentinization (water-rock reactions at >90°C). Complex organics (C₁-C₅ compounds), NH₃, and phosphorus (detected 2023) — all ingredients for life as we know it. Cassini flew through plumes multiple times; Enceladus Life Finder proposed but not funded. Best candidate for extant extraterrestrial life in solar system. ΔV from LEO ~15 km/s. Surface gravity 0.113 m/s² facilitates landing.
